Drive The Real Thing!
The stock cars used at TrackTime Racing School schools are actual team cars built
for and raced in the world's top stock car racing series.
You drive them as they were raced. They are equipped with the latest
performance and safety equipment.
In addition , drivers will be provided with a loaner driving suit, helmet
and gloves. Students may bring their own suits and helmets providing
each meets the current required safety ratings. Check with our office
staff for details.
Drive It Right!
Driver orientation and classroom chalk-talks provide you with insights
into the dynamics of stock car driving.
The racing "line," car control, as well
as principles of weight transfer and management are some of the topics discussed. Vehicle response and
dynamics are also covered.
A vehicle walk-around session covers various systems and components
of the stock car.
Drive It Solo!
Put your classroom education to work where it counts... out on
the track
First, students practice driving the "line," and making transitions and passing
maneuvers in the street cars to get hands on experience of classroom subjects.
Next, climb through the window into a race car for lapping
sessions. Qualifier participants drive one six-lap session,
Heat participants drive two six-lap sessions and Feature
students receive two twelve-lap sessions.
Drive It Fast!
Advanced driving programs offer the ultimate experience
under race-like conditions. After completing a 12 lap or 24 lap stock car driving program,
you qualify for the TrackTime Racing School Advanced Stock Car Program.
This school includes four ten-lap sessions exclusively in the
race cars. In the final session, you take the track for a
one-on-one student/instructor race. Draft and pass just like
the pros!
